Hi, folks,
Sorry I disappeared for a period of time.
It's been a busy summer - I presented at DevTeach ( www.devteach.com). Was my first time in Canada since I was a kid. Had a great time, except for one little thing: the Coke in the mini-bar was warm, and I had to go down five full floors to get some ice! That's right, I was on the 12th floor...and the ice machines in floors 12-9 were empty! Luckily, the 8th floor had ice. Since they didn't have hockey last year, you'd think the zambonies could have donated some ice to the hotels. Oh, well...it's a great city, and I hope to go back next year and spend more time checking out the sites there.
Also gave a presentation a few weeks ago at the Lehigh Valley .NET User's Group (http://groups.msn.com/lehighvalley-net). The folks there were very friendly. While I don't mind the travel, it was nice to finally do a session in my own backyard! ;)
In another day or so, I'll be officially supporting CGF (Common Ground Framework) for .NET on this blog. I introduced this framework in the July/August '05 edition of CoDe (www.code-magazine.com)
I appreciate everyone's interest and support, and I'm looking forward to good feedback to consistently improve and enhance CGF.
Jazz recommendation for the day: Revolutions, by Vijay Iyer. Heard it in the car as I was driving through Philly over the weekend. If you're a fan of modern bop, it kicks!
Peace out,
KG
